ADAPTING FOR THE GREEK MARKET

Beyond the store structure, the project required adapting content for a Greek audience and researching requirements related to an e-commerce operation targeting the European Union.

  • Language: localization of content and key store information into Greek.
  • European context: research into VAT, how the IOSS scheme works, and requirements involved in sales to the European Union.

CATALOG CONNECTED TO THE SUPPLIER

Wiio was connected to Shopify to link supplier products to the store catalog and understand, in practice, the workflow between product selection, listing, and publishing.

06 / KEY LEARNINGS

BEYOND BUILDING THE STORE

The project broadened my understanding of the structure behind international e-commerce, from catalog organization and supplier selection to content localization and European market requirements.

01

Organizing products, categories, and content from the beginning helps maintain consistency throughout the store.

02

Supplier selection affects both the catalog and the feasibility of the operation.

03

Selling to another country requires considering language, taxation, and regulations beyond the platform itself.
